As Africa marks Africa Industrialisation Day, Morocco International Mining Congress 2025 (IMC Morocco) proudly celebrates the continent’s accelerating drive toward industrial transformation — with the Kingdom of Morocco standing at the forefront. IMC Morocco underscores Morocco’s ambition and readiness to serve as an open industrial, logistical, and technological hub for regional and global value chains.

Taking place 24–26 November 2025 at the Pickalbatros Golf Hotel in Marrakech, the second edition of IMC Morocco is organised by the Federation of the Mineral Industry of Morocco (FDIM) in partnership with AME Trade Ltd and supported at the highest levels by the Ministry of Energy Transition & Sustainable Development, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and AMDIE.

Morocco: A Fast-Rising Industrial Powerhouse - Morocco’s industrial and mining sectors continue to gain international recognition:

  • Ranked the most attractive mining investment destination in Africa (Fraser Institute, 2025) and 18th worldwide for multinational mining companies.
  • A world-leading player in phosphates, while expanding exploration in cobalt, copper, lithium, manganese, rare earths, and precious metals.
  • Major national strategies advancing low-carbon manufacturing, battery materials, renewable energy leadership, and green hydrogen corridors.
  • One of Africa’s most advanced logistics networks, including world-class ports, industrial zones, and transcontinental trade corridors.

These advantages position Morocco as a linchpin in Africa’s broader industrialisation agenda, perfectly aligned with the UN’s call for inclusive and sustainable industrial growth across the continent.

IMC Morocco 2025: A Platform for Africa’s Industrial and Mining Future

With more than 500 delegates, 50+ speakers, and senior representation from governments, mining companies, OEMs, technology providers, investors and academia, IMC Morocco 2025 provides a high-level platform to:

  • Define Africa’s role in the energy transition, critical minerals, and global value chains.
  • Strengthen South–South industrial cooperation and continental alliances.
  • Showcase Morocco’s integrated industrial ecosystems and new opportunities across exploration, processing, mobility, renewable energy, and advanced materials.
  • Accelerate responsible development through sessions on ESG, water stewardship, women in mining, human capital, and logistics corridors.

The high impact, industry driven programme includes a ministerial panel, strategic debates, technical sessions, and the IMC Morocco Mining Excellence Awards, recognising leadership and innovation across Africa’s mining landscape.

Celebrating Africa Industrialisation Day at IMC 2025 - As governments and institutions worldwide observe Africa Industrialisation Day, IMC Morocco reinforces that industrialisation cannot advance without responsible access to strategic resources — and that Morocco is uniquely positioned to support Africa’s integration into global markets.

Morocco’s investment-friendly environment, strong regulatory reforms, and commitment to sustainable industrialisation highlight the Kingdom’s contribution to a more resilient, competitive, and forward-looking African economy.

With only 4 days remaining until IMC Morocco opens its doors, delegates, partners, and investors from around the world are preparing to convene in Marrakech to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and shape Africa’s industrial future.
